Wooton End

B21 - Grid reference SP047910

Wootton End was of the administrative districts of medieval Handsworth and reached from Town End as far as the West Bromwich boundary along Park Lane. Its name probably derives from Old English wudu tun meaning 'wood farm' or settlement. This is the area now known as Handsworth Wood.
