B27 - Grid reference SP126838
A medieval 'cottage by the brook' ie. Westley Brook, is recalled in a streetname.
Cottesbrooke School opened on Yardley Road in 1968 and was so oversubscribed that the Baptist church hall was also used as accommodation. This building is now Cottesbrooke Infant School. Two Victorian houses opposite Florence Road were demolished to make way for a new school to be built. This became a separate institution, Cottesbrooke Junior School.
